Facts about the giraffe

The giraffe is the tallest of the animals.
The tongue of a giraffe can be as long as 45 cm.
Their long necks help giraffes eat leaves from tall trees.
Giraffes live in the Savannahs of Africa, where they roam freely among the tall Acacia trees.
There is no direct threat to adult giraffes as they are too large.
They are well known for their long neck, long legs and spotted pattern.
They have knobs on top of their heads, these knobs protect their heads in a fight.
